Katharine House Gallery

Christopher Gange established his gallery at Katharine House over 40 years ago. Specialising in 20th Century Modern British Art, the gallery also shows ceramics, antiquities and rare and collectable books. This remains the main focus of the gallery.

However, a recent development is that we have showcased contemporary, local artists - and new young artists. This marks an interesting departure for us - artists are welcome to hire one or two of our spaces - while our Katharine House Gallery collection is also available to view at all times.
